Flat Roofs are fabricated essentially with joists spanning the area between two walls, covered by high quality sheet timber or other material. If timber is used a further, waterproof covering is required. The weight of these last two coverings, together with the width of the span, form the basis of the calculation for the size of joists needed.
It is therefore important, that before building your structure you have the desired building regulation approval. J & F Roofing will provide you with everything you need from start to finish to help you receive the final product you require. If you are in the South of England, please contact us and we will visit you and discuss the necessary actions.
